In layman's terms, a software upgrade today has caused Internet Explorer to go all higgledy-piggledy on us. This afternoon and this weekend, it will not be allowing you to scan items. We'll fix this as soon as we can, likely Monday 04/29/13. In the meantime, please see this thread, and consider using Chrome or FireFox until we can convince Internet Explorer to play nicely with others. Sorry for the trouble!
